Hi! I'm Clint Shockey, owner, designer, and fabricator for East Texas Smoker Company, operated in the beautiful piney woods of Tyler, Texas. I learned my design and welding crafts while attending Texas State Technical College over 10 years ago. I have since graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a BBA in Finance. To my family's dismay, I am not going into banking or accounting but would rather following my dreams to build exceptional and unique barbecue smoker pits for people to enjoy. I take great pride in the creating custom smokers for my customers. Although my business is only two years old, I have been designing and fabricating high-quality smokers for eight years. | | I know the difference between grilling and barbecuing. In fact, I do extensive research EVERY weekend with my smokers, and my friends and family certainly enjoy the benefits of that research!
